The following are a few thoughts that I came to. Please search out your own laws and see if just some concise informational messaging might help us with this relatively new issue. Maybe we should create billboards and posters which will support our law enforcement.

We are pleased to announce that through the Lutheran Social Services Office of Immigrants and Refugees, "Newcomer Orientation" is being held at the Sioux Empire Safety Village. During this two week class newcomers to the United States are being taught basic social and life skills such as how to get a job, how to pay a bill, rent an apartment, clean, cook and provide for the safety of their family. This is the second time in the last month that they have brought 20+ immigrants and interpreters out the WH Lyon Fairgrounds for these classes.
