Injuries

Injuries are not accidents that just happen. There are usually reasons and events that cause them.  Children have the right to be safe and there are things that can be done to keep them safe and unharmed.  Actions by the adults or by a child can keep them out of a dangerous situation or assist them in making safe choices when placed in such a position.  Safety Village of South Dakota provides a variety of programs that provide safety knowledge and skills that assist children and adults in making safe choices.
